Ford revealed the 2021 F-150 Police Responder based on the F-150 but instead, this version was built to the needs of police officers. The F-150 Police Responder is really good for chasing and can reach 120 mph, up from the previous limit of 105 mph. The vehicle moves on specially made Goodyear Wrangler Enforcer all-terrain tires so it can go from footway to dirt without hesitation.
The F-150 Police Responder has a torque-on-demand case with a 4-Auto mode. On footway, the system automatically changes to rear-wheel drive to let the pickup to corner better, Ford says, on slippery or gravel road surfaces, it automatically switches into four-wheel drive. The vehicle’s off-road ability is strengthened by skid plates and also an electronically locking rear differential.

This 2021 F-150 Police Responder comes with a Ford’s 400-hp twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 with 500 pound-feet of torque, and the power is routed via a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Police Responder is provided with Police Engine Idle, which permits a police officer to come down from the pickup and remove the key while leaving the engine running. The engine can then use lights and sirens without exhausting the battery.
Inside the Pickup truck, there is a dashboard tray that allows police departments to easily install aftermarket lights, radar equipment, radios, and other equipment needed by a police officer. The F-150 Police Responder comes with Ford’s fleet management system, Ford Telematics, which is used to inform a fleet operator of driver behavior and also to help the operator carry out maintenance and reduce costs.

In addition, the all-new F-150 Police Responder comes with a new Police Engine Idle feature that allows for secure idling. This feature prevents the vehicles from being driven unless an authorized key is present. Inside the pickup truck, there is an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Ford’s SYNC 4 infotainment system and also a 4.0-inch digital information screen in the gauge cluster.
