The 2021 Lincoln Nautilus reminds us most of the brand’s big, soft-riding four-doors from decades past. The Nautilus’s suspension is tuned for comfort, and its over-the-road appearance is well suited for relaxed Sunday drives. The 2021 Lincoln Nautilus offers a turbocharged four-cylinder engine but buyers can either choose to upgrade to a perkier twin-turbo V-6 and either front- or all-wheel drive. The Nautilus has a roomy and upscale cabin that’s in coordination with its placid ride, with the top-spec Black Label model offering the most luxurious accommodations. But unfortunately, the price has the vehicle competing with several SUVs from more desirable brand names.


The elementary engine in the Nautilus lineup is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that generates 250 horsepower. It moves up to an eight-speed automatic transmission and can be acquired with front- or all-wheel drive. The Reserve test vehicle with all-wheel drive acquired a 6.8-second zero-to-60-mph time, surpassing the V-6–powered Lexus RX350 by 0.1 seconds but going behind the Cadillac XT5 by 0.2 seconds, the optional 335-hp 2.7-liter turbocharged V-6 was also tested, and it delivered a speedy 5.9-second zero-to-60-mph time.

The cabin of the 2021 Lincoln Nautilus is covered in nice materials, layers of luxurious leathers, metals, and woods are also available as you go up through the lineup. Nearly everything in the Reserve and Black Label test vehicles was covered in soft leather, and the headliner of Black Label models is also covered in faux suede. 


In addition to the 12.3-inch digital gauge display, all Lincoln’s Nautilus models come with a huge 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen system. Ford’s latest Sync 4 infotainment software is simple to use and offers more advanced features, including over-the-air update capability. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility are also included, an 11-speaker audio system and a 4G LTE–powered onboard Wi-Fi hotspot are all offered.
