There is not a single crossover in the automobile market at the 2021 Mazda CX-30 price point that has a more lavish and fascinating interior. Considering that the vehicle was exactly Mazda’s aim to punch up into the entry-level luxury market.

Mazda loves to talk about comfort designs and adapting the interior to work best for the driver. Its designs are naturally pretty to look at, but it was also made to be a joy to use. For the vehicle to be a crossover, the entry and exit into the driver’s seat are high enough to slide right in without needing to bend downwards or hoist yourself upward.

The dashboard of the 2021 Mazda CX-30 is slightly different from the other previous years. It’s still a dual design, but the infotainment screen amalgamation is designed differently. They achieved the same goal, but the Mazda’s top layer and additional stitching are more elegant. All the knobs, buttons, and other features that a driver interacts with were designed with intention and are excellently damped like that of a more expensive Mercedes-Benz or Audi. The soft leather steering wheel is not too thick and does not suggest any sportiness. Even the buttons are intuitive, as there are extended tabs for things like volume and cruise control speed that make fast and hands-free adjustments easy.

The previous Mazda infotainment screen could be operated by touch, but only when stopped. For the 2021 Mazda CX-30 interior, Mazda dumped the quasi-touch capability for a new rotary-controlled system connected with an enlarged and relocated screen. This new section is stationed higher and far forward such that the driver doesn’t need to avert his/her eyes from the road by much to see what’s going on.

Mazda’s infotainment system might be the least distracting of all because there will be a little need to readjust your vision to see it, the knob can be controlled without even shifting your body. The downside is that a knob is not a proper way to control Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
