The 2022 Acura MDX is a three-row crossover SUV that is sold under Honda’s luxury imprint. It can contain up to seven passengers and it also offers some of the automaker’s most advanced technology and most luxurious features, and also comes with a choice of front or all-wheel drive. It introduces a new design and follows the 2020 model year, there will definitely be a 2021 Acura MDX.
Mostly everything on the 2022 Acura MDX is new, though the powertrain seems familiar. The 2022 Acura MDX has a new body structure, a new cabin, and updated safety and informative technology.
The MDX’s new shape improves its former good looks into something higher-wattage on the glam scale. It has a curvy shape, with a broad grille that leads into swole fenders and a leaner look that belies its chunkier curb weight.
Acura’s 290-hp V-6 move to a 10-speed automatic in the new MDX, and steps off from shadows and through interstate passes with authority, it also have twin-turbo-Type S. The power is similar to the 2020 model, but there is a little change in the handling.
The 2022 Acura MDX Interior space spreads in the first two rows. In the front, driver and passenger have 12-way or more adjustment in well-bolstered buckets. The Synthetic leather in the previous model gets an upgrade to real leather on all above the base model, and cooling and heating are also available. Second-row passengers will have a very large space and the middle seat section can be detached to turn the seven-seat MDX into a six-seater with a middle aisle to the skimpy third row.
All MDXs will come with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and traffic-jam assist. Crash-test scores have been good, but the NHTSA and IIHS haven’t completed their series of tests on the 2022 Acura MDX yet.
