Glimpses of the company’s best-selling vehicle have been revealed as the new 2022 Peugeot 308 shows off the company’s new logo. The photos seen here are the concluding production model of the hatchback that is set to rival the Volkswagen Golf. The 2022 Peugeot 308 is very similar to the current model in terms of size and dimensions. The front grille has been totally redesigned compared to the outgoing model. It’s clearly taking inspiration from the new Peugeot 508 and 208. The most obvious feature at the front is the new logo which Peugeot will begin to use across all future models.
Looking showroom-ready with trimmings including a new logo, the 2022 Peugeot 308 appearance follows the French carmaker’s new design language as seen on the latest Peugeot 208, 2008 and facelifted 308, which comprise the frameless grille and fang-like daytime running light signature. In the interior, it looks as if it retained Peugeot’s groovy i-Cockpit dashboard arrangement with a small steering wheel and high-set instruments.
Somewhere else, we can see a sportier front bumper with a trapezium intake. Designers also gave the 2022 Peugeot 308 slim headlights which flow into fang-like daytime running lights. Other noticeable features include a sculpted hood and “308” badging on the front end of the vehicle. Continuing down the sides, the car has a strong shoulder line and an evolutionary greenhouse. We can also see front bumper badging and a sportier bodywork with an extended accent that runs through the doors.
Unfortunately, the pictures above didn’t provide a clear look at the rear end, because the prototype is partially covered at the back. Nevertheless, at least, we could still see the aggressive atomizer design with integrated oval exhaust tips, proposing this could be the GT Line trim. The 2022 Peugeot 308 is set to be launched later this month.
